In trying to keep track of every IPA you ever drink, there is an element of detective work. You hope that you type down enough elements so that later down the track when you actually load it to the blog, you can google the name and details of the beer, and it's seamless. This is not one of those times...
I the train ride back from San Diego to Los Angeles, I stopped in Oceanside for the sole purpose of hitting up Barrel Republic. Serve yourself beers, too good to pass up.
Unfortunately, the first IPA I tried, I have no idea what it was called. I typed in Allah's Alpina IPA - and took a photo of a Allagash Saison. So, was it an Apline Brewing IPA, was it an Allagash IPA...I'll never know. But I liked the IPA in the photo below. A mystery for the ages. Grade: IP...A
